In response to the many requests for reprints that came from the exhibition, we carefully selected the patterns from the vintage sukajan jackets owned by Taylor Toyo that were on display at the venue, and combined two A-sides (the main side) into one, creating a luxurious design that can be called a ``double A-side.'' -Depicted on the surface is a white dragon approaching, its long body visible and hidden between the clouds. 1950s
In line with the vintage made in the earlier period, the black x black body is combined with solid black ribs, and embroidery is done with white-based colored thread. The rope piping on the sleeves is blue and white, which is the same specification as the real thing, and reproduces the vintage charm in every detail. The reversible side has a landscape pattern unique to Sukajan, which was created as a souvenir for American soldiers in post-war Japan. The beautiful landscapes of Japan in spring, such as snow-covered Mt. Fuji, pine trees and cherry blossoms in full bloom, and oriental pagodas, are expressed in brightly colored embroidery threads that stand out against the green acetate.
