It can deliver one HD source to one DP display and one HDMI display simultaneously without signal loss. This is not a bi-directional switch and does not work from DP and HDMI sources to DP monitors. This DP HDMI splitter is plug and play, provides a USB 5V power cable, and the LED light indicates the working status of the displays.
🎁[8K HD Resolution] Displayport 1.4 to HDMI 2.1 splitter is DisplayPort 1.4 version, supports HDR 4:4:4, 4:2:2, 4:2:0. Backwards compatible with resolutions up to 8K@30Hz, 4K@120Hz, 60Hz 1440P@165Hz, 144Hz, 120Hz. If only one display is connected to the output port (DP or HDMI), the resolution can reach 8K30Hz. If DP and HDMI are connected at the same time, the resolution can only reach 4K.
🎁[MST/SST Mode] In SST mode, the two external displays will display the same content. In MST mode, the two external displays will display different content. Due to system limitations, Mac OS MST mode can only extend one display (i.e. the same content will be displayed on three screens).
🎁[Note] ➊To achieve MST mode, you need to use a computer with a discrete graphics card, otherwise the content of the three screens displayed will be the same. ➋You need to use a USB cable to power the splitter, otherwise the display will not show anything. ➌This Displayport to Displayport HDMI splitter does not work with any docking station.
🎁[1 in 2 out DP HDMI splitter] To get 8K resolution, please use standard DP1.4 and HDMI2.1 cables. Otherwise, it may flicker or not display the image. However, the final maximum resolution depends on your computer system. If the optimal resolution of your computer is not 8K, you can't get 8K resolution.
DisplayPort 1.4 to DisplayPort 1.4 HDMI 8K 1 in 2 out Splitter/b＞ This Displayport splitter allows you to connect DP source to DP display and HDMI display (1 in 2 out only). DP source and HDMI source to DP display will not work without bidirectional switch.
Two working modes:
SST: displays the same content on two external screens, suitable for education, meeting sharing, etc.
MST: The two external screens display different content, making it ideal for tasks where different screens are required.
Note: Due to system limitations, only one screen can be extended in MST mode on Mac OS.
Usage note:
1. When you use the device, please plug in the USB data cable to power the device, otherwise the display will not output anything.
2. It is recommended not to use excessively long cables when connecting ports, otherwise the screen may flicker or become unstable
3. Under MST extension mode, single port output can reach 8K, dual port simultaneous output can only reach 4K. To achieve the highest resolution, please use DP1.4 and HDMI2.1 standard cables. The final resolution also depends on different computer systems.
