*Please be sure to preheat the pot before first use*
As the phrase suggests, preheating the pot means placing it on the stove without adding any ingredients.
Please note: Do not leave the pot unattended. Cook the pot evenly, even to the edges.
As the surface begins to blacken, it will turn gray when it is done.
Once the pot has cooled slightly, wash it with a scrubbing brush or similar tool in hot water. (Detergent is fine.) Using a steel scrubbing brush will cause scratches.
Next, season the pot with oil. Add plenty of oil to the pot and fry the vegetable scraps. Clean the entire pot.
Discard any vegetable scraps and wash the pot in hot water before use.
The handle will become hot, so do not hold it directly. Wrap it in a towel and keep the towel away from the fire.
*Care Instructions*
After cooking, wash the pot with hot water using a scrubbing brush.
If any burnt food gets on it, scrub it off with a steel scrubbing brush.
It is easier to remove burnt food if you put the pot in hot water while it is still slightly hot.
After that, drain the pot completely, coat it with oil, and store it. Failure to oil the pot will cause it to rust.
To completely remove all moisture, heat it on the stove for a short time. This will evaporate the water, but be careful not to burn yourself when applying oil.
After it has cooled a little, apply oil to the underside as well.
If rust does occur, you can remove it by rubbing it with fine-grained paper, but the rubbed area will be prone to burning, so heat it on the stove (the rubbed area will turn blue) and then apply oil.
