This title is an international adaptation of "Final Fantasy X," released in the summer of 2001. All character voices are in English; there are no lines in Japanese. However, Japanese and English subtitles are available, allowing you to choose the language of your choice.
Yuna, a summoner who aspires to defeat "Sin" just like her great father, is joined by the protagonist Tidus, who assists her. Along the way, they meet various allies. The series also introduces a "Count Time Battle" system, allowing players to predict enemy actions several turns in advance, allowing for more tactical combat. Another difference from "X" is that each character's abilities have been expanded.
A bonus DVD disc is also included, featuring a 12-minute mini-drama, "The Eternal Conqueror." With numerous other added features, you'll be able to revisit "X" from a different perspective. (Nobuhiro Hayashida)
