EVANS UV1

The UV1 is the result of years of research, experimentation, and development. Designed to dramatically increase versatility and durability, this drumhead incorporates D'Addario's latest innovations, combining recently patented UV-cured coating technology with a new film and LEVEL360 Technology.

This UV coating offers exceptional durability, setting it apart from other commonly used coatings, providing a solution for drummers struggling with chipping, peeling, and wear.

While the tone is similar to the G1, the UV1 offers a thinner, more uniform, and more open resonance than previous coatings. It offers exceptionally high response and enhanced sensitivity, especially when playing with brushes.

The coating is applied only to the flat surface of the head, excluding the bearing edge and the collar that rests on the hoop, rather than the entire head, ensuring uninterrupted vibration and resonance.

The new film offers a warm tone and is resistant to dents and stretching. Combined with UV coating and LEVEL360 Technology, the UV1 is poised to be the most versatile and durable 10mil drumhead available.
