Introducing the hinoki bottle cooler from the "asahineko" series, crafted from Kiso conifers. This double-sized cooler is designed to hold two bottles. "asahineko" is a collective term for household items made from the five Kiso conifers: asunaro (ashunaro), sawara (sawara), hinoki (cypress), nezuko (nezuko), and kouyamaki (koyamaki), all of which are native to Tsukechi Town, Nakatsugawa City, Gifu Prefecture. Designed by Kazuaki Murasawa, this cooler takes advantage of the softness and lightness of conifers, featuring a thick, tactile design. The generous curves highlight the wood's unique "wood grain" pattern. The interior is finished with wiped lacquer, enhancing its waterproofing and creating a pleasing contrast with the bare hinoki wood.
