Safety Warning
This kendama is carved from solid wood with no surface treatment. To prevent cracking and deformation, avoid rapid drying in direct sunlight or hot air.
Cracks will not reduce strength, but if they are a concern, you can improve the appearance by protecting the surface with beeswax (sold separately).
The photo is for illustrative purposes only. Please note that the grain of each piece is unique due to the natural wood.
To allow you to enjoy the texture and aging of the wood, the surface is not painted. The wood may have a distinctive odor, burrs, or knots. Please be aware that these may bleed onto clothing.

The Kendama "TOKYO KENDAMA" was designed with the concept of "nurturing." Its greatest feature is that it is made of solid wood, without any paint or staining.
The deliberately rough-hewn finish allows the product to develop a glossy finish with use. The symbolic label on the product itself is made of domestically produced cowhide, a design that allows for enjoyment as it ages.
Compared to standard Kendama, we've paid particular attention to the feel of the product, such as enlarging the ball holes and each of the discs and readjusting the overall balance to improve the success rate of tricks.
Our original bearings are used to secure the balls. This dramatically reduces the string twist that can occur during juggling or string tricks, ensuring stable performance.
This is a natural Kendama carved from solid wood without the use of chemical paints. We aim to be a sustainable brand, using paper packaging and more.
