It's easy to tighten without a rubber ring, and the small screw angle makes it difficult to loosen.
Screw the OTO point in by hand until it fits snugly against the barrel, then use the OTO tool to screw it in an additional 1/4 turn.
This design allows for smooth transitions between steel and soft tips with minimal deviation and minimal flex within the board, ensuring a consistent grip and release for the player.
